Badminton

Competitive Teams

There are 2 competitive teams playing for the school, The Senior A, making up the best ten players in the school and the Junior A team, made up of the best Year 9 and Year 10 boys. The teams train on every Mondays after school under Mr Ong to prepare for big tournaments like the Super 8 Tournaments, Inter-school exchanges and NZ Secondary Schools Championships. Most of the players that represent the school are also representative players of various regions.

The Recreational Teams

Those who want to play badminton socially can join one of the 7 recreational teams, managed by Mr Scott and Mr Walker. These teams play with students from other schools and they play their badminton on every Monday evenings at Arena Manawatu.
