The PNBHS Old Boys' Association

old_boys.jpgPalmerston North Boys' High School has done much to ensure your start in life has been a successful one.  Accordingly the Old Boys' Association comprises those who continue to have the interests of the school at heart, and wish, in some small way, to retain their connection with the school.

Your school days may be a rapidly diminishing memory, but the friendships which you established while at school will remain and strengthen throughout life. To this end, membership of the Old Boys' Association is an enjoyable and informative way of keeping in touch with the school and fellow former pupils.  The preservation of these links is one of the key functions of your Old Boys' Association.

The Old Boys' Association organizes Annual Dinners, and Reunions throughout New Zealand; runs a Golf Tournament, sponsors the representative caps for first teams, plays the 1st XI Cricket and 1st XI Hockey in annual matches and sends out newsletters.

Through the momentum created by the Centenary, the Old Boys' Association is endeavoring to maintain and update an extensive database of Old Boys' information, so contacts can be maintained.

The current Chair of the Association is John Naylor. Liaison with the School is through a three person committee. Mrs Jill Hart, wife of Craig Hart, is working away at the database mentioned above; Stuart Leighton, now Manager of College House, has agreed to be the 'face' of the Old Boys' Association and physical contact at School for Old Boys visiting the School, and Dominic King, staff member, is responsible for the newsletter, website and the School Archives.

Please contact the School by post (P.O.Box 4049, PN) or by email to Dominic King, who will pass the information on to the relevant people. His email address is kingd@pnbhs.school.nz
