The students of Palmerston North Boys' High School are encouraged to get involved in the sporting opportunities offered at school to enhance their personal growth and development. All year levels can compete along side and against their peers. Highly skilled and talented young men  can challenge themselves by playing at higher levels.

Achieving excellence and winning are goals Palmerston North Boys' High School sportsmen strive for in their selected sports and the school celebrates their sucesses at assemblies, in the Palmerstonian and on special honours boards around the school.
