Tennis

Tennis has been a summer sport played at PNBHS since the schools formation in 1902. Tennis currently attracts between 110 – 130 students into some form of organised competition each year, ranging from beginners through to the advanced players in our Senior A and Junior A teams. Different competitions available to students during Terms 1 & 4 are:

• Senior A Tennis Team
• Junior A Tennis Team
• Saturday morning leagues
• Wednesday ladder competition

The school also provides coaching for any level of player. Beginners are often coached by our Senior A team players here at school, and our top teams are coached by local professional coach Jono Spring and his coaching team at the Manawatu Tennis Club.
