Welcome to Palmerston North Boys’ High School, a decile 8 School with a current roll of approx. 1750 students and boarding facilities for 180 young men.

Established in 1902, PNBHS is a traditional state boys’ school where it is important that the traditions and achievements of the past are built on to provide guidance and direction for our future generations.
The School motto ‘Nihil Boni Sine Labore’, ‘Nothing Achieved Without Hard Work’ forms the basis of our School ethos, and pride and respect are the cornerstones of School life.
