College House Expressions of Interest

If you wish to make an application for your son to board at College House, please fill out the expression of interest form. The College House Manager will be in contact with you shortly.

It is recommended that all prospective boarders and their families make a time to look at the facilities and speak to staff and current boarders about boarding at College House. There will be an opportunity to do this at annual Open Days or by making an appointment with the College House Manager.

Fees

Prospective boarders are encouraged to register interest well in advance of their year of entry.

Hostel fees are $15,998.00 (inc. GST) for a four term year.

Please note that these fees do not include any school and activity fees and uniform expenses.

Optional activities that boarders choose to undertake while at College House will also be invoiced on a monthly basis.

Payment of Fees

All boarding and extra activity fees must be paid by via direct debit. The annual boarding fee is to be paid by ten equal monthly instalments of $1,599.80.

The activity fee will be paid monthly on the 20th of each month also by direct debit.Those who receive a Ministry of Education Boarding Allowances will have this credited to their account.

Admission

All applicants for admission at Year 9 will be offered an interview in March. Successful candidates will be notified in before the conclusion of Term One. Once a placement has been offered, families will be required to complete a College House Boarding Contract, which all parents of boarders must sign. This contract remains in force for the duration of the student’s stay as a boarder at College House.

There is also an $800 bond (of which $500 is a refundable) to be made to secure your son’s place for the following year.
