Important Dates for Year 9 2026 Enrolments

Monday 14 July 2025
Online Applications for Year 9 2026 enrolments will be available on our website from 8:00am Monday, 14 July 2025.

Thursday 24 July 2025
OPEN DAY
Day Session – 9:45am
Evening Sessions – 5:30pm and 7:00pm
Meet at the Speirs Centre at the times stated above and are each session is followed by an optional student-led tour of the school.
College House Hostel Tour Times – 11.30am and 4.30pm.

Friday 15 August 2025
2026 enrolment applications close at 4:00pm

Monday 25 August 2025
Acceptance letters emailed – after ballot has taken place, if required.

Tuesday 2 September 2025
Final date for parents to accept or decline an offer of enrolment.

Tuesday 7 – Thursday 9 October 2025
Entrance Testing at PNBHS for students entering Year 9.
The dates for these will be advised if your son is accepted.

Thursday 9 October 2025
Orientation Evening.
A meeting will be held in the Main Hall at 7:00pm for 2026 Year 9 students and their parents. It is essential for all to attend this meeting where a general introduction will be given to the school and its approach to education. There will also be an opportunity for parents to discuss any concerns with staff.

Wednesday 12 November 2025
Sports Development Programme Trials – Football and Rugby – 9.00am – 2.30pm.

Thursday 13 November 2025
Arts and Cultural Activities Experience Day – 9.00am – 2.30pm.

Friday 14 November 2025
Sports Development Programme Trials – Basketball, Cricket and Hockey – 9.00am – 2.30pm.

Year 10-13 Enrolments

Enrolment for Year 10-13 students is subject to a face-to-face interview with the Rector. Please contact the School Main Office on (06) 354 5176 or to make an appointment.

As of Monday, 27 January 2025 PNBHS has no vacancies for out of zone students in any year level for the 2025 academic year.

Available spaces for 2026 Year 10-13 students will not be able to be determined until mid Term 3 2025.

Enrolment Scheme
As part of the requirements in operating our enrolment scheme we are obliged to indicate the likely number of places available at each year level for out of zone students.
This can be a difficult number to determine as it is affected by both in zone applications and by the number of current students who return for tuition the following year.
Please be aware that based on the above-mentioned factors actual out of zone places may differ from the number advertised.
We have listed below how many out of zone places we think we are likely to have for 2025. Applications for the places listed below closed on Wednesday, 4 December 2024.

Year 12 – likely out of zone places = 0
